Major League Youth Sports runs NJ FLAG:

A VERY COMPETITIVE YOUTH NFL FLAG FOOTBALL LEAGUE 

in New Jersey for boys and girls ages 5-14.

 

General:

1. The league operates in the Spring, Winter and Fall varying 6 - 8 weeks. Each team will play game(s) per week on Sundays.

2. Games are 30 minutes - running clock.

3. The program provides young players an exciting opportunity to engage in non-contact, continuous action while learning lessons in teamwork in a competitive environment.

In return for your registration fee: 

1. NJ FLAG will present each participant with an official NFL reversible flag football jersey, flag belt, and mouthguard. Also, trophies or medals for the champions.

2. Organize the participants into teams that will be coached by parent volunteers.

Volunteerism:

1. Coaches are volunteer parents.

2. The coaches will instruct the participants in the rules of the game and teach the skills of flag football in an age appropriate manner.

3. Most importantly, the coaches will instruct to the players the fundamentals of good sportsmanship and fair play.
